{semi} wordless wednesday

Happy Wednesday Lovelies!

Photobucket

I'm attempting to do some de-cluttering in my life.

To avoid the people who cause me the most stress, and eliminate those who see me as an option though I make them as a priority.

It's a hard thing to do sometimes.

To realize that someone who means the world to you doesn't feel the same way about you.

But in the end - life is far to short to spend it worrying over those who aren't worrying about you.

In the end - those people don't matter.

The ones that matter are the ones who have invested in you as much as you have invested in them.

Those are the ones worth fighting for.

{semi} wordless wednesday

I'm obsessed with plans of redecorating my bedroom. Right now I'm really loving the idea of a black bedroom - black walls, with some white contrasts and red as well. I'm doing a Marilyn Monroe theme - are you surprised? :) So far, I don't have much done except my picture and wall cling (is that what you call those things...???) which I will likely have to remove anyway to repaint the walls black! But I love the picture... and I will perhaps put the quote up on the wall in white instead of black - once the walls are painted.

Here's what I have now...

I want to get a platform bed and paint the walls like this:

I love the chandelier over the bed concept - but I'd prefer to have a bed like this, in black:

So what do you think of black bedroom walls? Too much?

This is the First Edition - I'll be sharing more pics with you as soon as my brother in law gets his sent over. He got some great ones I want to share with ya'll as well.

For those who may not know - I took off on Saturday morning and headed to Anza, CA for my niece's 5th birthday, which was Monday. We had a wonderful weekend and her birthday party was fabulous! I took along my Bestie and my little adopted niece Maddy. The weather was absolutely perfect!
