But hell, I'll play along! Here are some songs you might hear at my wedding...
For my bridesmaids entrances:
When I was a teenager, I swore this song would always be on my wedding playlist... It probably still will be - because it will more than likely irritate the CRAP out of the poor chap I decide to marry.
Had they not played this song in that Twilight movie, I'd totally pick it for a wedding song. But the whole Twilight thing ruins it for me...
And this song - I just LOVE this song!
Someone else posted I Want to Grow Old With You, but I didn't know Adam Sandler did it. It's such a funny song and one I can so get into. lol With soon-to-be 33 years of togetherness come this Saturday, then this song applies. I especially like the part where he says, I'll even let you hold the remote control or something like that. My DH is such channel surfer with total control over the RC. I'm gonna have to play this song for him. I like Lucky by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat. It's really pretty! Thanks for linking up with us for Monday's Music Moves Me. I hope you'll dance with us each week! Now following...
ReplyDeleteWe Only Just Begun. But Oh! What a Sweet Surrender!
You crack me up, Heather! As does that first song... ;) LOVE all your choices - I almost posted a couple of these, too, but I was sort of getting out of control. Thanks for posting them for me, so I could enjoy them! ;) Thanks so much for playing along! :)
ReplyDeleteYou Make Me Feel… I Don’t Want This Night To End so Tonight Is The Night – Marry Me, say I Do, Then let’s dance the Macarena
Well great minds think alike because I was the one who posted "I Want to Grow Old with You". I like the movie and all the songs in it so the fact you posted the other song humors me.
ReplyDeleteI have not heard any of the other songs and was enjoyable to listen to plus you are one funny gal.
Thanks for playing,
~Naila Moon

I thought the wedding singer was one of the best movies of Adam and ---blanked out on her name. Any how, I second that, when I was young...love stinks, but love is fabulous now.
ReplyDeleteAhh so glad you came to play with us!
ReplyDeleteAdam is always so funny :)
Love your selections!
These are great and some are new to me, but I'm glad you shared and played along with us. Hope you enjoyed yourself & come back next week.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't anything like Pachelbel Canon in D. It is so lovely to play for a wedding. Thanks for sharing.
